ConceptMEA, a module of MDI ADAMS, is an integrated solver for largedisplacement kinematic and dynamic conditions for 3-D mechanisms builtusing ConceptSolids. Loading is modeled directly on the solid model andcan include force, translational, and rotational components. Massproperties are automatically extracted from the solid model when materialproperties are provided using ConceptMaterials. Post-processing includesfan plots, x,y plots of resultant forces over time, coupler curves, andanimated display of the motion. A translator is available to produce DADSinput.
